Travis Buggey – Business Development Manager

At a very early age, Travis Buggey was always interested in how things worked, so it was only natural that he pursued a career in engineering. Mr. Buggey graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He then went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

For over 15 years now, Mr. Buggey has worked in the engineering field. His professional experience includes the management of several multi-million dollar start-ups in the graphite, energy, and polyurethane coating industries. He also has experience in Marcellus Shale Natural Gas Drilling/Water Treatment, Landfill Gas, Alternative Energy, Algae to Biofuel, and Power industries.

During the past 10 years, Mr. Buggey has expanded his background into the business management and finance areas. He has written several newsletter articles for and is a frequent contributor to The American Entrepreneur radio show. In addition, attending local events like “Entrepreneurial Thursdays” also enables him to remain active in the Pittsburgh community.

A native of western Pennsylvania, Mr. Buggey “enjoys learning something new every day,” reading, and spending time with his wife and son. One of his favorite activities is aiding startups in Third World countries through Kiva.org.

He follows the famous quote of Abraham Lincoln: “That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well.” Mr. Buggey looks forward to growing with Venture Engineering and expanding into new markets.
